The Beresford Zip Around Wallet

PATTERN DETAILS:

The Beresford Wallet is the ideal wallet to organize your cash, cards, coins, and so much more.

The Front Flap section offers quick access for cards, cash and more you use every day without needing to unzip your wallet to get to them. Front Flap offers two sections that feature two ID Windows, plus 4 additional card slots, a zippered coin pocket, and a slip pocket.

The full zip around closure offers two more secure sections in your wallet with 12 more card slots, two bill/cash pockets, and a center zipper pouch for coins or other small items

The Beresford Wallet measures:

8 ¼” Wide, 4 ½” High

Materials Needed:

FABRICS AND INTERFACINGS:

• 1- Fat Quarter or ¼” yard 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton - Main Fabric

• ⅔ yard 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton - Lining Fabric

• ½ yard Fusible Décor Bond -Pellon 808 Interfacing

• ⅛ yard Fusible Fleece -TP971F-Pellon Fleece Thermolam Plus

• 1 Piece Peltex 72F Ultra Firm 2-sided Fusible at least 4 ½” x 8 ½”

ZIPPERS:

• 1- 22” #5 Zipper- for Exterior Top Zipper (I recommend a #5 Nylon Coil Purse Zipper but a #3 could be used.)

• 1- 7” #5 or longer Zipper- for Interior Pocket Pouch (I recommend a #5 Nylon Coil Purse Zipper to give the pouch depth but a #3 could be used)

• 1- 8” #3 or longer Zipper- for Front Flap Zipper Pocket

HARDWARE:

• 1- Large Magnetic Snap or 1 ½” wide or smaller Half Moon closure hardware or Turnlock for the Closure Tab.

OTHER:

• Coordinating thread

• Removable Fabric Marker (I recommend a Frixion gel pen as it can be removed by pressing with an iron)

• Microtex (Sharp) Needle 80/12 –Recommended for topstitching through the thicker parts.

• Fabric glue or a temporary bond fabric glue stick (optional).
