The Boheme Satchel is a versatile sized handbag with a pleated bottom and snap open gusseted sides to give you plenty of room for everything while boasting a soft and feminine shape. Boheme can be carried as a handbag with the rolled top handles or worn with the adjustable strap and expanded sides.

The Boheme Satchel Measures: 11” high, 14” wide and 5” deep and features:

• Unique rounded handles. 
• Snap open sides to expand the body
• Interior Zippered and Slip pockets
• A detachable Crossbody Strap
• A soft structured body with accented details to give it structure

Materials Needed:

FABRICS AND INTERFACINGS:

• ¾ yard 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton - Main Fabric 

• ¾ Yard 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton - Lining Fabric 

• 12” x 24” piece Vinyl, Leather, Cork, or a non-directional Quilting Cotton weight - Contrast Fabric

• 2 ¼ Fusible Pellon SF 101 or a woven shaping interfacing

• ½ yard Fusible Fleece -TP971F-Pellon Fleece Thermolam Plus

• 1 Piece Peltex 72F Ultra Firm 2-sided Fusible at least 4” x 10”

ZIPPERS:

• 1- 8” Zipper- for Interior Zipper Pocket

HARDWARE:

• 6- 1” D-rings, O-rings or Rectangle Rings

• 4-  Round Strap Connector Caps with a ¾” Inner Bell Dimension- Optional

• 2- 1” Swivel Hooks

• 1- 1” Strap Slider

• 3- 18mm Thin Magnetic Snaps

• 8-12 Rivets or Chicago Screws- Optional

OTHER:

• 24” ⅜” O.D. Clear Vinyl Tubing (Available at hardware stores in plumbing section)

• Coordinating thread

• Removable Fabric Marker (I recommend a Frixion gel pen as it can be removed by pressing with an iron)

• Microtex (Sharp) Needle 80/12 –Recommended for topstitching through the thicker parts.

• Fabric glue or a temporary bond fabric glue stick (optional).
