The new Darcy Handbag is a vintage doctor bag style handbag with a boxy silhouette and modern touches making it the perfect handbag to combine a vintage look with modern features like organizational pockets, full zippered top, and optional ways to carry.

The internal frames make the top open wide enough to easily see what is inside and to extract items, such as your wallet effortlessly.   The full zippered top keeps your items securely inside.

Darcy features classic petite top handles, as well as, an optional adjustable shoulder strap to allow you to carry the bag in a classic way, in the crook of your elbow, or to go hands free and carry it on the shoulder.

The interior features slip pockets on both sides along with a large zippered pocket to keep you organized.

The Darcy Handbag measures- 10 ½” wide, 9” high, and 6 ¼” deep.

• ½ yard 44” wide décor weight or quilting cotton weight (or 1- 18x 27-piece Cork/Vinyl) -Main Fabric

• 1 yard 44” wide quilting cotton weight - Lining Fabric

• 1 piece 18 x27 Vinyl, Leather, or Cork – Contrast Fabric

• 1 yard 45” Fusible Pellon 809 Decor Interfacing - Heavy Interfacing

• 1 ¼ yard 20” Fusible Pellon SF 101 – Light Interfacing

• ¼ yard Fusible Fleece -TP971F-Pellon Fleece Thermolam

HARDWARE:

• 4-1" Strap Connector Hardware pieces where the base (not including the ring) is no larger than 1” high or 4- 1” D-rings or O-rings.

• 1- Pair of 10” Internal Wire Frames - sized 10" wide x 3" long with a 12" bottom spread from end to end

• 2- Bridge Connectors, or 2 1” D-rings or O-rings - (Optional for Long Carry Strap)

• 2- 1" Trigger Hooks- (Optional for Long Carry Strap)

• 1- 1” Slider- (Optional for Long Carry Strap)

ZIPPERS:

• 1- 22” #5 Nylon Coil Zipper (single or double pull - your preference) – Top Zipper

• 1- 12” #3 Nylon Coil Zipper – Interior Zipper Pocket
